There are free apps out there that keep track of how much h20 you have drank and how many calories you should be taking in.
I was hoping for an app that is easy to use to track my water, vitamins, exercise and food intake during pregnancy and Im not finding this app easy enough. Too complicated to enter food, for example why do you need to enter a brand name for an egg, an egg is an egg! Also water intake could be much simpler and I found a better app for that, but was hoping for something that could include everything in one place.
Saw really good reviews for this app online so i purchased. Limited menu items to choose from that take way to long to find. Not worth the money and totally disappointed.
I bought this app and it wont even open tried numerous times without any success :(
Doesnt even open!
Dont waste your money! Not pregnancy focused at all.... Just another calorie tracker and nowhere near as good as the Free my fitness pal. Missing a lot of features that would be incredibly useful. I wish grow baby was allowing you to purchase their features as its a much better set up. Just dont bother.
This app is in serious need of updates. The reasons I bought it were to track my calorie and carb consumption and weight gain. Im already in my third trimester so I wanted to add my previous weigh-ins from my doctor visits however you can only add a weigh-in for the current date, you cant adjust the date. Also, the list of foods are mainly frozen or name brand foods that are useless unless you are specifically eating those items. And even if you use the general food items they do have nutritional info for, you cant combine them to create a meal, you have to add them all in as different meals. You essentially have to add the nutritional information manually, so I had to download a separate calorie counter app to use in conjunction with this one. It wouldnt be so bad if this app was $.99 or even $1.99, however $9.99 is way too much to pay for something that you need a supplemental app for. I would not recommend it until theyve made some serious improvements, which will probably be too late for me since Im already 35 weeks.
It constantly shuts down and causes my phone to freeze. From a technical Perspective, its a nightmare. Additionally, its useless nutritionally. Im a Registered Dietitian, and the app provides no nutritional guidelines to help a pregnant woman know what her charts actually MEAN. There is no point in tracking when the tracked information is compared to NOTHING. (Besides the fact that the tracking doesnt work to begin with.) This app is a colossal waste of money (and very overpriced).
I switched from My Fitness Pal to this. I was spoiled by the ability of MFP to find almost any food I could imagine within seconds. I have yet to find any food I eat by searching for it. Ex: I typed in Peter Pan Peanut Butter and got a page of results for Athenos Basil Feta Spread. If you try the category navigation its no better but much slower. I dont have the time to input everything manually thats why I got the app. Try MFP and you will be happier. How does someone request a refund? BTW The two prior reviews were not visible until I clicked to review myself then these appeared.
The picture for this app is strange - I basically have a naked ladys silhouette on my phone that looks like a mudflap girl. I have to figure out how to hide it for when kids are using my phone. Also, there should be a password. There is also limited functionality. I would like it better if it were not as expensive.
I bought this app because of the appeal of being able to track calories, weight gain, and more importantly blood glucose levels since I have a history of gestational diabetes. I wish that I had read these reviews sooner otherwise I would not have wasted 10.00!! There are far better apps that will allow you to scan the barcodes of the foods you are logging and it gives very detailed nutritional information for a fraction of what this cost! I think its false advertising that the reviews did not display when previewing the app! This app needs some serious updates! And everyone on this review should be given a full refund!!!!!!!!
The app looks good, but when you try to enter any values it locks up and you cant do anything with it
Dont get this. Its not user friendly or worth the money. I wish I could get my money back.
Dont get this app. It is pointless. Doesnt break down folate or frolic avid amounts and only tells basics.
Even though I saw bad reviews- I still bought it. The app is not helpful whatsoever , I entered my own foods in my food folder and it never saved, when I entered what I ate daily in the food diary- the info disappeared the next day, it looks like it doesnt save at all. Not worth even two dollars.
App doesnt work and so I went to the website. Not even that comes up. Please remove this app iTunes so more pregnant ladies dont waste their time and $!
Cant get past registration. Locks up and does nothing. Its a great concept and would be helpful if it worked. Save your money! Avoid this app!!
Lots of reviews say app isnt working but I had no trouble with it this morning. It has a very easy to use format and a nice database with customizable food lists. Charts and graphs based on calories or major nutrients. Have downloaded 3 apps and this is the best so far. I do wish it had somewhere to enter supplements and I would really like a target feature so instead of just telling how much protein Ive had Id like it to tell me how much to aim for as an expecting vs post-partum vs breast feeding mom.
Would not recommend to anyone.
